Online Volunteering A Comhlámh Discussion Paper

Launched on International Volunteer Day 2014, this paper aims to inform volunteer sending agencies, volunteers, international development organisations and policy makers about the facets, features and benefits of online volunteering for development. Online volunteering, also called virtual volunteering, refers to volunteer activities using an online system or network accessed through a computer, mobile device, laptop, etc., in order to undertake or deliver tasks or projects.
